Cet appareil de type "minicam" fait la promotion du fameux détective vedette de bandes dessinées.  Deux versions de cette caméra sont connues.  Elles se distinguent par l'orthographe du nom du manufacturier et la couleur de leur plaque d'identification.  Ainsi, il existe une version, comme celle-ci, portant l'inscription Seymore sur une plaque noire, et une autre, avec le nom Seymour inscrit sur une plaque de métal rouge.

This minicam-type camera promotes Dick Tracy, the famous star detective of the comic strips.  Two variant exists with a different spelling of the manufacturer and a different color of the nameplate.  So there is a version from "Seymour" Products Co. with a red nameplate, and one, like this one, from "Seymore" Products Co. with a black nameplate.
